How do I scan a printed recipe?

Tap the camera icon on the home screen, point your camera at the recipe, and tap capture. Works with printed cards, cookbooks, and screenshots.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use Efficient Eats as a guest. Create an account to save recipes across devices and sessions.

How do I save a recipe?

After loading a recipe, tap the bookmark icon to save it. Saved recipes are available offline.

I set up my allergens but nothing is being flagged. Why?

Go to your profile and confirm your allergens are saved. Allergen detection works best when ingredients are clearly listed in the recipe.

How do I delete my account?

Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Delete My Account" and we'll remove your data within 7 days.
